Eagle Institute

Eagle Academy Foundation seeks to improve the academic and life trajectories of young men of color by broadening the reach of its proven model to superintendents, school leaders and educators nationwide.

The Eagle Institute’s service offerings aim to increase the number of schools with positive cultures and climates that will enhance the capability of educators to effectively meet the needs of male students of color with:

  • Professional development for school leaders and educators and on the Eagle model.
  • Coaching and implementation support to schools nationwide.
  • School design and development consulting services to advise district and school leaders on how to create and support all boy public schools.
  • Evidence based practices that support young men of color to inform education policy.

The crisis for young men of color
is immense and urgent.

Eagle has the experience to build the capacity of educators and school leaders. Over the years, EAF led annual professional development conferences have served up to 600 educators and school leaders.

“What resonated with me about the Eagle Academy Foundation’s Professional Development Institute is the real-world experience of the workshop speakers. The speakers are Eagle classroom teachers and administrators and they really understand the inner city kids we work with. It’s not just theoretical objectives. The workshops are about effective, proven real-world strategies to engage young at-risk urban boys.”
